Welcome again to the issue of mistakes that can get your Paypal
account limited or blocked.

Last week, an internet business colleague of mine shared his experience with me and believe me, it was a gruesome experience for the guy. All in all, he had lost about $2000 to Paypal
at the end of the day. This story of his prompted me to write this article distilling the lessons I grabbed from his ordeal.

The lessons are:

1.  Previously, I mentioned in another article that you should be careful using banned IP’s to access your Paypal
account. While I encourage you not to use banned IP’s, I will further advice you to use one IP constantly to access your account. What I mean is if you have been using a particular IP address to access your account, try to stick to it.

Also, this means that the use of an IP changer software should be discouraged unless you can restrict the software to one IP address only. Most IP address changers keep changing IP addresses usually to different country IP’s.

2.  Funding and withdrawal issues: Sudden deposits and withdrawals of large sums of re usually flagged for review by Paypal
. This can lead to your account being limited because Paypal
will now for your own security reasons want you to confirm that the account is actually yours. Such proof might require that you provide proof of residence or credit card/bank statement.

Since, you are not located in the country you claim to be in, you might encounter difficulty in presenting these documents leading to your account being limited for as long as you can’t present proof.

Therefore deposit and withdraw amounts of not more than $200 at a time if possible.

3.  Remember all the details with which you opened your Paypal
account. This includes your address, phone number, credit/debit card number, CVV/CVC2, your secret questions etc. these information may be requested from you anytime Paypal
assumes that the security of your account has been compromised.

Therefore log into your account and verify these details and copy them somewhere safe. Any error made in entering the wrong information when required by Paypal
will lead to a limitation placed on your account. When in doubt please cross check your records to be on the safe side.
